Clinical Supervision with Dr. Liz

Helping You Grow Into the Therapist You’re Meant to Be

You love this work—but let’s be honest, it can be a lot.

The learning never stops, and some days the weight of the room follows you home. I’ve been there. I love being a therapist, but I love training and supporting other therapists even more. My goal as a supervisor is simple: to help you find your footing, develop your voice, and feel both competent and confident in the work you do.

Who I Supervise

As a clinical psychologist, I’m approved to supervise:

→ LPC Associates

→ LMFT Associates

→ Pre-licensed Psychologists

I offer both primary and secondary supervision, depending on your needs and where you are in your professional journey.

How I Supervise

Abstract design featuring four brown leaf shapes arranged around a central dark gray circle on a black background.

In my own clinical work, I focus on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for individuals, blending attachment- and mindfulness-based approaches. I’m always thrilled to help newer clinicians dive into these models—but I also love supporting you as you find your own.

If you’re drawn to a different modality, we’ll focus on the universal skills that make good therapy great: presence, attunement, conceptual clarity, and strong case formulation. Together, we’ll deepen your confidence and your understanding of both theory and practice.

What You Can Expect from Supervision

My supervision style is collaborative, transparent, and rooted in real-world clinical wisdom. Here’s my promise to every supervisee:

  • Our work will be tailored to your strengths and your growth edges—even when it means being gently challenged.

  • Every piece of feedback will come with a clear “why,” grounded in theory and evidence-based practice.

  • We’ll focus on both your clients and your experience in the therapy room, integrating skill and self-awareness.

  • You’ll have access to me for brief check-ins or questions between sessions when you need guidance.

  • You’ll always have a safe space to take risks, reflect, and stretch into your next level of professional growth.

What Past Supervisees Are Saying

  • "Liz has been my supervisor for about two years, and she’s made such a difference in my growth as a therapist. She has a way of honoring who I am while still challenging me to grow in ways that feel supportive and safe. Supervision can be intimidating, but with Liz, I’ve always felt seen, encouraged, and reminded of my confidence when I start to doubt myself."

    — Brittany S

  • "Liz has a way of gently pushing you to become the best version of yourself as a therapist while always validating how challenging this work can be. She’s incredibly supportive, easy to reach when I need help, and never makes me feel intimidated when I’m struggling. She also brings a lot of wisdom about the business side of therapy and shares practical tools that make the work feel more sustainable and professional."
